Follow the steps to set 2D Deep Engraving of EZCAD3:
1. Create a new TEXT 2D file or import a vector file to Ezcad3, set its size and put it to the center.
2. Hatch the file.
3. Click “3D” to enter 3D view, click “Slice” to slice the file, remember to tick “Using selected two-dimension object hierarchy”, set the value of “Max Z” and “Thickness” of each layer.
4. Hold down the CTRL key, press and hold the left mouse button, and drag the file to view it from different directions.
By selecting different layers, we can see how each layer is filled. The black part is the laser engraved part, by engraving each layer afterwards, we can get a deep engraving pattern.
