When the Ezcad2 software shows “demo version-only for evaluation”, it means that there is no communication between the computer and the laser machine – the Laserbeschriftungsmaschine failed to connect to the computer.
Please check according to the following steps:
- Make sure that you use the right version of ezcad software, which is provided by our company. The older control cards may not support the latest version software.
- Please check if you update Windows system recently, the ezcad software may not support the latest operating system.
- Make sure that the driver was installed successfully in your computer, and check the computer’s Device Manager.
Tipps: When it show “BJJCZ Device – Laser Mark Control Board V4 (or V2)[USB]“, it means the driver was installed successfully, and the laser machine was well connected with the computer.
- Please check whether the USB cable is loose on computer’s or laser machine’s USB port, you’d better unplug it and plug it in again.
- Try to use another USB port in your computer, or change to use another computer, sometimes, it is the problem of the USB port.
- Try to use a new USB data cable.
- Check the 5V power supply for the control card, check if the green light on this 5V power supply is on or not.
- Check if the green indicator light on the control card is always on or not.
