Follow the steps to set 3D Deep Engraving of EZCAD3:
1. Enter 3D view, click “STL” to import a 3D file, or we can click “Creating a basic 3D surface” to create a basic 3D file.

2. We can view it from different directions.

3. Aim to deeply engraving this file, we need to rotate 180 degree along the X axis.

4. Translate the surface, aim to put 3D graphic on the bottom of Z axis.

5. Slice the 3D file.

6. Escotilla the file.

7. Hold down the CTRL key, press and hold the left mouse button, and drag the file to view it from different directions. By selecting different layers, we can see how each layer is filled. The black part is the laser engraved part, by engraving each layer afterwards, we can get a deep engraving pattern.

Notice please:
Rotate and translate the 3D surface first, then slice and hatch; NOT slice and hatch first, then rotate and translate the 3D surface.
