Follow the steps to set 3D Emboss Engraving of EZCAD3:
1. Enter 3D view, click “STL” to import a 3D file, or we can click “Creating a basic 3D surface” to create a basic 3D file.
2. We can view it from different directions.
3. Slice the 3D file.
4. Click “Add contour”, then click “Draw rectangle” to draw a rectangle, set the size of the rectangle and put it to center.
5. Select “Slicing tangent” in object list-> click “Add contour”-> click the edge of rectangle.
6. Then we can see object 1 and 2 are combining together, become one object.
7. Click “Hatch” tool to fill the file.
8. Hold down the CTRL key, press and hold the left mouse button, and drag the file to view it from different directions. By selecting different layers, we can see how each layer is filled. The black part is the laser engraved part, by engraving each layer afterwards, we can get a embossed pattern.
