Ring text mark means mark text on ring, can mark on out surface of the ring, also can mark on inside surface of the ring, out surface mark is normal ring mark, and inside surface mark need the help of rotary marking and slant rotary axis together, follow picture shows the interface of the ring text mark.

Ring Text Mark

Our surface ring mark runs same with ring mark, but the inside surface mark is different, because the rotary axis who hold the ring will be slant, so the inside surface will also slant, so will effect the focus and calibration(ring text mark doesn’t support 9 points calibration) So with this plug, we mainly shows inside surface ring mark, when inside surface ring mark, we need to click ‘Ring Inside’.

Also need to open two axis function, one for rotary, the other for slant, because of the slant axis, so the focus length value what input to the software will change a little, firstly we make the focus point on center of the ring.

Diameter of the ring: when outside mark, its from center to the out surface of the ring. When inside mark, its ring center to the inside surface of the ring. Software will calculate according to these value.

Depth of the ring: the distance from outside to inside of the ring surface.

L: distance from the ring installation surface to the rotate center.

Angle: the slant angle of the rotary.

Refresh: after updating the marking parameter, click it, let the software to read new parameters.

3 calibration: similar with the inside calibration, during mark, use it to calibrate the marking distortion.

Outside mark: in the F3 parameter, can choose X and Z in ID, during mark, software will split the picture in X direction

1, rotary axis and z axis go to zero
2, find the focus
3, set ring mark parameters then refresh
4, calibration
5, mark

Inside mark: in the F3 parameter, can choose X and Z in ID, during mark, software will split the picture in X direction

1, click inside ring mark
2, rotary axis and z axis go to zero, we suggest for z axis, use zero offset to find the focus.
Zero offset: current axis arrive at the zero point, then move some distance to find the focus.
3, set ring mark parameters and refresh
4, calibration
5, mark
