1. The control of the scanner head is mainly reflected in the following parameters:
Marking speed:
The movement speed of the scanner head when the lazer is actually marking on the objects.
Jump speed:
Refers to the speed when transferring (positioning) between each stroke or figure during the marking process.
If the skip speed is too large, the empty strokes are processed in short time and the total marking time decreases, but the strokes will be connected. If the skip speed is too small, the empty strokes take longer to process and the total marking time increases.

Jump Delay(named “Jump TC” in Ezcad3):
When the last command is given for an empty stroke, it takes some time for the mirror to reach the specified position due to the lagging nature of the mirror, so this parameter should be set to wait for the mirror to reach the specified position. If the parameter is too large, the mirror will be fully rotated and stay for some time before processing the next stroke, which increases the marking time. If the parameter is too small, the mirror will not be fully rotated to the specified position, but the laser beam is already out, and scattered dot will appear at the beginning of the stroke.

Corner delay(named “Polygon TC” in Ezcad3):
One stroke sends out the end command, the next stroke sends out the start command, and there is no empty stroke in between. At this time, due to the hysteresis of the mirror, it takes some time for the mirror to reach the specified position. If the parameter is too large, the mirror has fully turned to, the laser does not stop the light, then the corner will form the repeat dot and increasing the marking time. If the parameters are too small, the mirror has not yet fully turned to, it will start marking the next line, and the corner will appear arc.

End delay time(named “End TC” in Ezcad3):
The time to wait for the laser to turn off completely. The laser needs a period of response time from the time the light-off command is issued to the time the laser is completely turned off, so setting an appropriate end delay parameter is to give the laser sufficient response time to turn off the light in order to allow the laser to be completely turned off before the next marking. A proper end delay parameter can eliminate the “ghosting(double image)” when marking, but if the end delay is too large, it will affect the processing speed. Cannot be negative.
2. The control of the laser is mainly reflected in the following parameters:
Opening delay(named “Start TC” in Ezcad3):
After the end of one stroke, to the beginning of another stroke, the starting point will be repeated due to the existence of the first pulse problem. Delaying the laser opening time and letting the mirror go forward some distance will avoid this case. If the opening delay time is too large, the laser will turn on only after going too far forward, which will cause the missing strokes. If the opening delay time is too small, the mirror goes too little forward, the laser turns on, and the starting point of the stroke will appear to be repeated.
Opening delay value can be positive or negative. When the negative value, means that the laser’s opening time in advance when marking, can be applied to the laser which send out laser light slowly, to avoid there is no laser light after opening a long time; can also be used for cutting, because the starting point of cutting requires a larger energy. When the value is positive, it means that the laser will start to come out only after the set value delay.

Off light delay(named “Laser Off TC” in Ezcad3):
When the last instruction of the stroke is given, it takes some time to reach the specified position due to hysteresis of the mirror. If the light-off delay is too large, the mirror has fully reached the specified position, the laser is not turned off, and the repeat dot will be formed at the end of the stroke, increasing the marking time. If it is too small, the mirror has not fully reached the designated position, the laser has been turned off, the end of the stroke will not be long enough, resulting in the missing strokes.
