Why does the flame weaken during laser welding?

in Laser Welding FAQs, , , ,

Cause:

The laser resonator film or focusing lens may be contaminated or damaged.

The laser from the main optical path may deviate.

The laser may not be output from the center of the copper nozzle under the focusing head.

The cooling water may be contaminated.

Solution:

Regularly check and replace the laser resonator film or focusing lens.

Adjust the main optical path total and semi-reflective aperture using an image-paper check, dot adjustment method.

Adjust the reflective aperture by 45 degrees to allow the laser to output from the center of the nozzle.

Clean the UV glass tube and xenon lamp periodically.

Change the cooling water regularly.
